The Bethel Testnet storage interface allows users to upload files to the decentralized storage system. This tutorial will guide you through the process of ensuring you have the necessary tokens, obtaining tokens if needed, and uploading files.
Token Requirements for File Upload
Minimum Token Balance: To initiate a file upload, your wallet must have a minimum balance of 617,960,292 BECX tokens.
Insufficient Balance Error: If your wallet doesn't meet the minimum token requirement, you'll encounter the following error:
Obtaining BECX Tokens via Faucet
Locate the Faucet: Below the file upload section, you'll find the faucet interface.
Wallet Address: Your wallet address will be pre-filled and displayed on the faucet.
Request Tokens: Simply click the "Request Tokens" button, and BECX Test tokens will be credited to your wallet.
Uploading Files
File Selection: In the file upload section, click the "Choose File" button. This will open a file browser where you can select the desired file.
Initiate Upload: With the file selected and the necessary tokens in your wallet, click the "Upload" button.
Upload Confirmation: Upon successful upload, you'll receive a popup with the following message:
Piechart Update: The piechart will refresh to display the used and free space, with used space in red and free space in blue.
Recent Uploads Table: This table showcases your recent file uploads with the following columns:
NAME: The name of the uploaded file.
DATE: The date of the upload.
TIME: The exact time of the upload.
SIZE: The size of the uploaded file.
STATUS: The current status of the upload (e.g., Successful, Pending, Failed).
DOWNLOAD LINK: A direct link to download the uploaded file.
