The Bethel Testnet blockchain interface provides users with essential tools and information related to their blockchain interactions. This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating a wallet and understanding the various components of the blockchain dashboard.

Creating and Managing a Wallet

  1. Navigate to the Blockchain Section: On the Bethel Testnet dashboard, locate and click on the "Blockchain" tab or section.

  2. Create Wallet Button:

    • Click on the "Create Wallet" button to initiate the wallet creation process.

    • If you've previously created a wallet, clicking this button again will remove your existing wallet and create a new one. Ensure you've saved all necessary details from your previous wallet before doing this.

  3. Enter Password: A prompt will appear asking you to enter a password. This password will be used to secure your wallet. Ensure it's strong and unique.

  4. Wallet Details Card: After setting your password, a card will pop up displaying your wallet details. This card contains:

    • Wallet Address: Your unique identifier on the blockchain.

    • Seeds: A series of words or codes vital for wallet recovery. Store them securely.

    • Public: Your public key, which can be shared with others for transactions.

  5. Show Wallet Address Button:

    • Clicking this button will display your wallet address and public key for easy access and copying.

    Important: Always handle your wallet details, especially your seeds, with utmost care and security.

Blocks Section

  • Description: Showcases the most recent blocks added to the blockchain.

  • Components:

    • Block Number: The unique identifier for each block.

    • Block Hash: A cryptographic hash representing the block's contents.

Recent Events Section

  • Description: Provides insights into the latest events on the blockchain.

  • Components:

    • Event Name: The title or descriptor of the event.

    • Event Type: Categorizes the event, such as transaction, contract creation, etc.
